I have been practicing Buddhism for almost a decade. I was Initially drawn to the contemplative practices of meditation and concentration held in the container of silence and stillness. Over time I connected to the third jewel of Buddhism, ‘Sangha,’ or community. This practice and path is not meant to be travelled alone, but with each other.

Yoga
Yoga has been a steady pillar in my life for almost fifteen years. Over the last 10, Yin Yoga has intertwined itself into every facet of my being. Slowing down, softening, and being instead of constantly doing has become the rhythm of my life. Yin is a practice of yielding and noticing patterns of where we push ourselves. It shows us where we need tenderness and care and how to meet ourselves and our bodies there.

Mindfulness & Compassion
Mindfulness comes from the Pali word ‘sati,’ which means to remember. The western world has watered down the true depth of this ancient knowledge to a secular practice devoid of connection.

Anti-capitalism
The lens and framework from which I navigate my life and my work. Capitalism separates us by design and is purposefully built on exploitation, oppression, and violence. The container I hold for healing also holds this truth. It is within this understanding that we actively deconstruct and dismantle the hyper-individualism and separateness forced on us.

Drawing on Buddhist teachings, we’ll explore how to work skillfully with difficult emotions, let go of damaging patterns, and live with more compassion—for yourself and others. Connection and meaning are at the center of my work: connection to community, to the present moment, and to a more meaningful, intentional way of living.
