Let’s Work Together:

1:1 Mentorship & Coaching

WE HEAL TOGETHER. NOT ALONE.

I'm an extrovert and a people person and I have a deep love and reverence for the full breadth of the human experience. Healing happens in relationship and when we can be fully witnessed in all of our brokenness and remember that we aren't alone in it. We are part of a greater whole and we can't experience compassion without suffering.

I want to hold this container for you.

Compassion in capitalism is the lens and framework from which I navigate my life and work. We live in a system designed to exploit and oppress us, hold us in relentless competition with each other, and denigrate us to the point of forced burn-out. No amount of coaching will pull people out of poverty, stop climate change, or break down this system that we are all forced to participate in. Capitalism separates us by design and is purposefully built on exploitation, oppression, and violence.

The container I hold for healing also holds this truth. It is within this understanding that we actively deconstruct and dismantle the hyper-individualism and separateness forced on us. But what can we do? Life becomes a breeding ground for Nihilism and existential dread - which can seem daunting and inescapable. How do we navigate suffering when there is so much we don’t have any control over?

Specializing in mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and principles drawn from Buddhism, our work together will help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and challenge the status quo—not by pushing harder, but by becoming more present.

In a world that glorifies hustle and constant doing, I guide you toward a new way of being—where clarity, purpose, and peace are found not in speed, but in stillness.

In the midst of it all, there is still purpose and meaning in connection and belonging. For thousands of years Mindfulness, meditation, and Yoga have stood as foundational pillars in challenging the status quo. These practices are not to make us docile and suggestible, but to see the truth of reality as it is.

We get better at what we practice and we do that through support and accountability.

‘It is no measure of good health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society’

WHAT I BRING TO OUR TIME:

  • Yoga is a practice and process of uncovering the truth - a truth that is already there, but has been lost to shame, judgement, and the influences of capitalism. Over the last 10 years, Yin Yoga has intertwined itself into every facet of my being. Slowing down, softening, and being instead of constantly doing has become the rhythm of my life. Yin is a practice of yielding and noticing patterns of where we push ourselves. It shows us where we need tenderness and care and how to meet ourselves and our bodies there.

  • Mindfulness comes from the Pali word ‘sati,’ which means to remember. The western world has watered down the true depth of this ancient knowledge to a secular practice devoid of connection. Mindfulness is a powerful and potent practice of remembering that we have so much choice and agency in the present moment. We can affect change, and we do it one moment at a time.

  • Meditation is a practice of effort and intention. There is no single way to meditate and we do not have to be sitting still with our eyes closed and not moving to be meditating. Accessibility in meditation is where I support people. There are a multitude of techniques and practices we can try out and see what works. Building a consistent practice needs accessibility and for the practice to meet us where we are.

  • Buddhism - I have been practicing Buddhism for almost a decade. I was Initially drawn to the contemplative practices of meditation and concentration held in the container of silence and stillness. Over time I connected to the third jewel of Buddhism, ‘Sangha,’ or community. This practice and path is not meant to be traveled alone, but with each other. I was originally drawn to the structure and ceremony of Zen, and have practiced in that tradition for several years. My current practice and study leans toward the Theravada tradition and my teacher, Tina Rasmussen.

  • Feedback and support around how oppression and capitalist socialization is showing up in your life and how to navigate it with compassion and spaciousness. How can you integrate moments of stillness into your everyday life? What is Yoga off the mat? How can mindfulness raise class consciousness? We need to be witnessed in our pain and healing and you can find that with me. Together we will build sustainable systems in your life to support your wellbeing including a Yoga practice, meditation, mindfulness, compassion, and community care.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work out of the Bellingham Yoga Collective Annex space in the historic hardware building in downtown Bellingham. The Annex is a spacious setting equipped with ample Yoga and meditation props, privacy, and room to move around.

  • YES. I take a few nondescript notes but am not a mandated reporter. Nothing leaves our container.

  • Mindfulness and life coaching are distinct yet complementary approaches. Mindfulness involves cultivating present-moment awareness, observing thoughts and emotions without judgment, and remembering an innate capacity to engage with the world around us with compassion. It emphasizes being fully engaged in our current experience, improving self-awareness, and coming back to a truth that Buddhism has taught for thousands of years.

Life coaching is a goal oriented process where you are helped to clarify your objectives and guided to develop strategies to achieve them. While mindfulness enhances self-awareness and resilience, life coaching provides a structured framework for goal achievement.

  • No I do not. Most coaching services do not qualify for insurance reimbursement.

  • Nope! Buddhism is the framework of my life and lens of interacting with and moving through the world. Mindfulness is a Buddhist practice and I believe deeply in honoring the roots of the tradition and do not teach ‘secular mindfulness.’ Although you do not have to be a Buddhist to work with me, please know that Buddhism is inherent in this work.

  • Nope! Yoga is a process of uncovering the truth of reality. A reality that has been there forever, but we have gotten away from. Yoga will meet you exactly where you are and blending the philosophy and practice of the ancient tradition speaks for itself. I will support you in finding your way to and through a practice that works for you.
